Responsibilities - Maintain and improve CCUMC ministry branding, voice and messaging.
CCUMC ministries include the Coronado Boutique and Day School.
- Closely monitor the CCUMC calendar, including the Boutique calendar for upcoming services, events and gatherings in need of advertising.
- Establish a communications calendar for advertising services, events and gatherings.
- Create graphics and copy for advertising services, events and gatherings.
This includes:
announcement graphics email newsletters brochures and posters social media posts church website - Prepare regular email communications/newsletters using MailChimp and monitor the email mailing lists.
- When needed, contact ministry leaders for additional information to create advertisements.
- Edit copy or graphics provided by others as needed to maintain quality and branding.
- Update the CCUMC websites and keep them current, accurate attractive and actively supportive of CCUMC's communication goals and policy.
- Oversee/monitor the congregation's Facebook page and other social media platforms as they are added.
- Create and publish content to the congregation's Facebook page and other social media platforms as they are added.
- Attend on-site communications meetings and other meetings as required.
