Our Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for maintaining and/or improving the community's occupancy level and revenue production in accordance with business and marketing plans.
You will manage the sales process by understanding prospective residents' needs and educating them about the community's services and programs.
Responsibilities include coordinating and completing all activities needed to grow occupancy, including visiting prospects' homes, conducting initial assessments or sales presentations, and ensuring all required information and forms are provided and completed prior to move-in.
In the Marketing realm, you will have the opportunity for Increasing community awareness through strategic professional business development and participation in outside events, professional groups and local community involvement.
Our successful, new team members will:
Adhere to the Company's Sales only Sales principles.
Greet prospects, residents, vendors and visitors professionally and enthusiastically.
Present the Community to prospects using relationship-based selling techniques.
Work scheduled hours, weekends and holidays to ensure appropriate coverage.
Provide ongoing training to Team Members in sales, customer service & first impressions.
Strategically source referrals in the surrounding community and target market areas.
Plan, host and attend scheduled marketing events.
Plan new resident events (i.
e.
new resident social, meet and greet gatherings).
Set appointments and send thank you notes to all prospects who visit the Community.
Must possess strong time management and documentation skills.
Participate in the development, review and modification of marketing and media plans.
Attend training to develop relevant Sales & Marketing knowledge & skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, you must have:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to use computers is required.
(Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
) Ability to work evening, weekends and travel frequently.
Excellent organizational skills are a must.
Ability to facilitate complex problem solving.
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Related four-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum three (3) years experience in Sales, Marketing and Geriatrics.
Or other related background with a proven sales closing/census growth record.
Experience in relationship-based sales.
Must possess high-energy/enthusiasm and be a self-starter.
Have excellent time management skills and a strong initiative.
Possess superior verbal/public speaking skills.
