New Smyrna Beach, FL New Smyrna Beach, FL Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time From $12 an hour From $12 an hour 10 days ago 10 days ago 10 days ago Receptionist / FBO Customer Service Rep Job Description Welcomes and assists all clients, visitors, vendors, and staff Provides customers with professional service and assistance Manages a multi-line phone system; professionally answers and screens all incoming calls; retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel; advises office manager when leaving reception area to ensure constant coverage Calls all passengers two days prior to a flight as a courtesy reminder Maintains reception area in an orderly manner; ensures newspapers, books, and journals are arranged neatly for visitors; ensures current issues of Research News are available in the reception area Supports other staff members with help for both administrative and non-administrative tasks as assigned Works closely between line service personnel and customers Completes a Bahamian Immigration card for each passenger prior to check-in Prepares aircraft Trip Binders by removing old paperwork and replacing with new paperwork Tracks aircraft arrival and assures prompt line service Processes customer's purchases and fuel transactions.
Arranges for prompt customer de-briefing by appropriate technical personnel Audits reservation forms Weekend hours-when needed Observes all safety, environmental and general housekeeping rules and policies Other duties as assigned Communicates by speaking clearly and understands callers on the telephone and in person.
Required Skills Requires a high school diploma Position requires professional image as well as excellent phone and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to create and sustain strong working relationships across the organization.
Proficient in computer operations (internet, email, Microsoft Word) May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends to support customer or operational requirements.
Must be dependable to work a consistent work schedule, adapt easily to changes in the work environment, and have a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and within a team Confidentiality, multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail are a must, as well as good planning and organizational skills.
Stable employment history and excellent professional references.
Knowledge of radio procedures and protocols preferred Prior experience working in an airport or Fixed Base Operation environment preferred Prior experience with TFBO preferred Prior hospitality experience preferred Ability to perform light to medium lifting as necessary Must maintain a valid state driver's license.
